About This Product

■What is Kantan Katamarukun

You want to DIY a simple pavement over the gravel or soil in your garden. This simple hardening adhesive was born from that request. There is no environmental impact after application, so you can use it with confidence. What Kantan Katamarukun is

■It is a urethane resin adhesive

An adhesive made with urethane resin and organic solvents, it offers excellent tensile strength, abrasion resistance, oil resistance, water resistance, and chemical resistance, and it has better weather resistance than other resins. Our product also does not yellow.

■A paving material that hardens gravel with a spray

Its viscosity is adjusted so that it can be sprayed. Pour the undiluted liquid from the can into a sprayer and spray it, and the gravel hardens to a strength that people can walk on. A base of sand or soil is no problem.

■Hardens within 24 hours of application

It takes about 24 hours in the cold winter season. In summer it hardens in about half a day.

■Paves by binding stone particles to one another

It works into the contact points between stones and hardens there. As the stones get larger there are fewer contact points, so the strength decreases. It can also harden various materials other than gravel, although some require extra care to harden firmly.

■Safe for the environment

The organic solvents evaporate while it hardens, so only the urethane resin component remains after hardening. It does not dissolve into the environment, so it can be used with confidence. (During application, organic solvents may affect plants.)

■No puddles form

Water drains through the gaps between the hardened stones into the base, so no puddles form. You can walk on it with confidence even on rainy days.

■For weed control

Hardening the surface makes it harder for weeds to grow.

■Kantan Katamarukun comes in two types

There are two types: Kantan Katamarukun and Kantan Katamarukun Super. Super is the more concentrated of the two. We recommend Super for areas that are walked on.
