■Summary

The Balor-X sCMOS platform is the camera of choice for addressing fundamental challenges. Innovative, extremely wide field of view, fast readout sCMOS detector for indirect X-ray and neutron detection. Balor-X uses Andor's proprietary sensor and is capable of readouts at up to 54fps at full 16.9MP resolution while impressively maintaining readouts below 3e-. 12µm pixels provide large well depth. Additionally, the on-chip multi-amplifier design allows a wide dynamic range of 16 bits to be captured within a single image, making it ideal for analyzing high-intensity signals and samples at various absorbances. With a sensor diagonal of 70mm, Balor-X is the largest commercially available for indirect neutron and hard X-ray applications such as radiation imaging, computed tomography, scattering (SAXS, WAXS), and diffraction (X-ray crystallography) imaging. This is an sCMOS camera. Capture high-contrast images of large samples quickly in materials science, structural engineering, biology, energy research, fluid mechanics, archaeology, and mineralogy.
