About This Product
The Apogee 5500 series is a 50kV, 50W packaged X-ray tube designed for applications where high flux density and continuous operation are critical.
Apogee design with high stability, high intensity X-ray tube technology and grid-controlled variable focus allows you to get a very small focus. This makes it ideal for most industrial and non-destructive testing applications that require high resolution, such as testing PCB assemblies, batteries, plastics, metals, and mechanical parts. Additionally, this machine is highly flexible and reliable, making it suitable for use in conjunction with X-ray optical systems.
Constructed in a compact stainless steel lead-lined package filled with dielectric oil, the unit provides maximum X-ray shielding and heat dissipation. It is also equipped with high voltage connectors and filament connectors, making it suitable for plug-and-play use.
