The 1550 Series X-ray Tube is a 50kV, 50W X-ray tube designed for applications where high flux density and continuous operation are critical.

By using highly stable, high-intensity X-ray tube technology and grid-controlled variable focus, a very small focus can be achieved. This makes it ideal for most industrial and non-destructive testing applications that require high resolution, such as testing PCB assemblies, batteries, plastics, metals, and mechanical components. It also has excellent flexibility and reliability, making it suitable for use with X-ray optical systems.
The 1550 series X-ray tubes are also available in vertical stainless steel packages filled with dielectric oil for enhanced X-ray shielding and heat dissipation. Popular Apogee 5500 series package tubing with high voltage and filament connectors, making it ideal for plug-and-play use.
