About This Product

■MFC F1 Type with thin piezo actuator/piezo sensor, piezo ceramic arranged at 45 degrees

・Macro fiber composite (MFC) is an actuator or sensor that is not only thin but also flexible and has high output. ・MFC was invented by NASA in 1999. MFC consists of multiple rectangular piezoelectric ceramics sandwiched between polyimide electrodes and assembled into a film-like shape. - Because it is thin and highly flexible, it can be attached to the surface of the component to be attached. - By applying voltage, MFC can control force or vibration in the direction of bending the attached member. MFC can be used as a sensor. - Since the MFC can acquire signals such as vibrations of attached parts without applying voltage, it functions as a highly sensitive strain sensor. It can also collect energy from its vibrations, so it also functions as an energy generation device.
