About This Product

The UltraFlow STC is a threaded connection version of the Ultraflow series of quick couplings specially designed for liquid cooling of electronic equipment. The large internal diameter makes it ideal for use in cooling water circulation units (CDUs) in liquid cooling systems. The main features of the UltraFlow series, low pressure drop and excellent flow characteristics, enable new designs aimed at reducing energy consumption and investment costs.

■Threaded connection coupling for cooling water circulation unit (CDU)

The Ultraflow STC screw-to-connect coupling is a large diameter version of the drip-free Ultraflow series. Due to its large diameter and high flow rate, a large amount of force is required for connection, but the UltraFlow STC overcomes this by using a screw-in type, making it easy to connect. Like other UltraFlow series, this coupling has excellent features such as high durability, extremely low pressure loss, and no dripping. Our years of experience in drip-free hydraulic couplings, combined with new technology in liquid cooling, result in highly efficient quick connect couplings based on a proven design. Ultraflow STC is suitable for cooling water inlet and outlet applications in data center CDUs (Cooling Distribution Units). It is also ideal for other applications where increased flow rates are desired, such as wind turbines, traction power converters, and energy storage systems.

■Low pressure loss saves energy and reduces investment costs

When compared to similarly sized couplings, the UltraFlow STC's flow and pressure drop performance outperforms other products. Pressure drop performance is particularly important when looking at the overall performance of a liquid cooling system. The pressure losses of each component are cumulative. The positive effect of the difference between a good part and a slightly better part increases with each component of the system. It is also possible to downsize the pump to lower investment costs and reduce energy consumption, which may become a deciding factor in the overall system design.

■Safety alert ring

As long as the red alert ring is visible, the connection is incomplete. A secure connection is indicated when the ring is completely invisible.
