About This Product

■Supplies ultra-low temperature air of -46℃ from compressed air without any driving parts.

・Vortex Tube manufactured by Exair is an ultra-low temperature air generator that can handle various spot cooling problems in the industrial field. ・This product uses only general compressed air, and by separating the introduced compressed air into two air flows, high temperature and ultra-low temperature, it generates ultra-low temperature air with an output temperature of -46℃. ・It is palm-sized and has the same cooling capacity as a large refrigerator, but it is maintenance-free as there are no moving parts. - Post-processing is easy because dry cooling is milder than solution or oil cooling methods. - You can choose from a wide variety of models depending on output temperature, cooling capacity, flow capacity, and noise level.

■Vortex tube operating principle

Typically, 5.5-6.9 BAR of compressed air is released slightly into the spin chamber of the vortex tube. This airflow rotates up to 1,000,000 RPM towards the hot end where there is a control valve for release air. The remaining air, which is still spinning, travels in the opposite direction through the center of the vortex tube. The inner airflow transfers Kinetic Energy in the form of heat to the outer airflow, which is then released from the cold end of the vortex tube as cool air. The outside airflow is released from the opposite end as hot air.
