About This Product

■Product overview-A polymeric metal cold welding agent that was born in Germany and continues to be used in all modern machinery, chemistry, science, and space engineering fields around the world.
・It has a wide variety of uses and is used for all kinds of repairs without being limited.
- Clears strict European standards. As the name suggests, the standard type is a standard product in the series.
・A special adhesive repair agent that is composed of carefully selected steel micromolecules and ultrafine aluminum particles that can be mixed by eye and hardens through a chemical reaction.
・It is used in all kinds of metal manufacturing and construction industries, such as shipbuilding, automobiles, steel, equipment repair, air conditioning piping, factory piping, tanks, mold repair, etc., and its applications are wide-ranging.

■Easy-to-work all-purpose repair agent- Has a long pot life with good workability, and does not start curing immediately after mixing. Therefore, sufficient repair time can be secured for areas that are difficult to repair, and repairs can be carried out reliably. *Pot life (initial curing time)
・The curing time of the cold welding agent U-Metal is affected by the surrounding temperature, so the higher the temperature, the faster it will harden, and the lower the temperature, the slower it will harden.

■Repair work- For actual repair work, simply use the included file or a commercially available parts cleaner to remove rust, corrosion, oil, and other debris, and then apply the mixed cold welding agent U-Metal to the repaired area with a spatula.
- Large holes or missing parts can be repaired using the included glass tape.
・If the area is larger, you can use metal mesh to expand the scope of repair.

■Curing time・After application, just wait until it completely hardens.
- When the cold welding agent U-Metal is mixed, a chemical reaction begins and it gradually hardens over the pot life.
・After 2 to 3 hours, it will be half hardened, and after 24 hours it will be completely hardened.
・Curing time can be accelerated by heating with a hair dryer or hot air heater.

■Applications/characteristics, etc.- Due to its properties, different materials can be joined without melting the target. Adheres to most materials such as wood/metal/resin/stone. (Excluding some)
・After complete hardening, it can be shaped using an electric grinder, etc.
・It has abundant chemical resistance and is used in various industrial applications including chemical plants.
・This product has extremely low shrinkage after curing and has good dimensional properties.
