About This Product

■High heat-resistant epoxy adhesive Alemcobond 631

"Alemco Bond 631" is a new type of highly heat-resistant epoxy adhesive developed by American Alemco Products, and is also used to bond sight glasses in high-vacuum equipment. The upper limit of heat resistance is 204℃.

■Characteristics

・"Alemcobond 631" is a two-liquid mixture type with excellent mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties. ・As measured by ASTM D1002-94, the tensile strength is 3,000psi, the volume resistivity is 1.2 x 10^14ohm-cm, and the insulation strength is 440 volts per mil. ・Alemcobond 631 is resistant to a wide range of acids, salts, and organic liquids. ・Results of immersion tests with the following concentrated liquids have shown that they are not affected. Concentrates: Similar test results have been found for many other chemicals, including hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium chloride, ammonium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, jet fuel, gasoline, and toluene. ・"Alemcobond 631" has passed the outgassing test according to ASTM E-95 standards. This is particularly useful for aircraft manufacturers who are concerned about the outgassing properties of their materials. ・Total mass loss is 0.75% at 125℃, and condensed volatile components (CVCM) at 25℃ is 0.35%.

■How to use

・"Alemcobond 631" uses base and hardening agent at a mixing ratio of 1:1. - Completely cure by either drying naturally at room temperature for 24-48 hours or baking at 93℃ for 2 hours.
