■Features

・Width only 32mm, height 8mm ・Direct position measurement with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 0.75 µrad ・Minimum incremental movement up to 3µrad ・Rotation range>360° ・Speed ​​45°/sec

■Piezoelectric inertia drive

Piezo inertia drives are space-saving and affordable piezo-based drives with relatively high holding forces and virtually unlimited range of travel. The inertial drive principle is based on a single piezoelectric actuator controlled by a modified sawtooth voltage provided by special driver electronics. -The actuator slowly extends and moves the runner. - Due to inertia, the runner cannot follow the subsequent high-speed contraction of the actuator and remains in that position. - Drives acting directly on the runner achieve maximum speed. 45°/s at operating frequencies up to 20kHz.
