■Features
- Comes with a push switch: Depending on the software, "plus α" applications are possible, such as turning the shaft and then pressing it, pushing and turning it, or pressing and turning it.

・Panel waterproofing: Panel waterproofing type can also be selected.
- Optical rotary encoder: Since it is an optical rotary encoder, there is no chattering in the output signal, and non-contact detection means it has a long life.

- The RE21 series multi-functional rotary encoder with push switch has a shaft that also functions as a push switch, so if you combine push and turn operations, you can use it as a drag operation.

■Precautions for use
・Terminal connection, 1: 5V heavy source input 2: A phase output 3: B phase output, 4: Bush switch perspective 5: 0V common return
・Soldering should be done at 350℃ or less and within 3 seconds. Do not apply force to the terminals during or immediately after heating. Reflow is not possible.
・For waterproofing the panel, put a waterproof washer between the rotary encoder and the panel, then tighten the M9 nut.
・Do not exceed the tightening torque for the panel mounting and MS nut of 1.5N・m.
・When extending the lead wire beyond 30cm, please use a buffer amplifier as an intermediary.
