About This Product

To measure this "glossy", it irradiates the surface of the product with a certain angle with a certain angle, and observe the amount of light reflected at the same angle. It is a glossometer to be used to measure this reflected light. Depending on the surface nature of the product, the reflection angle required for measurement differs.

■ High glossy surface

■ Nakatosawa surface and low -light surface (glossy)

The image reflected on the middle light surface and the matte surface is thin and spoiled. This is because some lights are scattered at the same time, although the incident light is reflected at the mirror reflection angle.

■ Select an appropriate measurement angle

The glossy measurement value uses a unit called Gloss UNIT (GU) with a relative value of the amount of light reflected on the surface of the sample (a well -polished glass surface). The amount of light reflected on the surface depends on the incident angle of light, the nature and finish of the surface. The gloss of the surface can be classified into low gloss (glossy), medium gloss, and luster. It can be classified into a sample (glossy), medium gloss and high gloss. To find the optimal measurement angle of the sample, first set the globberometer's incident angle to 60 ° and measure. ・ If the measurement result is 10-70 GU, the sample surface is equivalent to Nakamitsuzawa, and it is suitable to measure at 60 °. ・ If the measurement result is less than 10 GU, it is equivalent to low gloss and 85 ° is suitable. ・ If the measurement result exceeds 70 GU, it is equivalent to the gloss and 20 ° is suitable. ・ When measuring the luster of the galidated metal surface, measure at three angles (20, 60, 85 °), taking into account the mirror reflection between the film and the metal ground.
