The Schunk Rota TP Power Chuck has a built -in air pressure cylinder. These chucks can be opened and closed using a special air supply system during shuts down via the distributor ring. Rota TP Power Chuck is particularly suitable for small lathes operated via fluid media because there is no hydraulic clamp cylinder. Furthermore, this chuck is very useful for automation technology.
The integrated air pressure cylinder allows the ROTA TP power chuck to be used in the fixed application of the milling/turning center. For this reason, Rota TP can be installed on a machine processing table as Rota TPS by extending with a base plate.
