■Continuous evolution advances non-contact vibration measurement

The LV-1800 Laser Doppler Vibrometer is a non-contact vibrometer that achieves over 10 times the sensitivity of conventional products thanks to a newly designed interference optical system. It also features a built-in camera that enables confirmation of the laser irradiation position. In recent years, ultrasonically driven small actuators using piezoelectric elements, mobile phones, smartphones, and digital cameras equipped with MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems), and in the automotive industry, inverters and peripheral devices used in EVs and HEVs vibrate at frequencies above 20 kHz. However, contact-type accelerometers, which are widely used for vibration detection, have difficulty measuring vibrations in microcomponents or in the ultrasonic range. The non-contact LV-1800 therefore enables quick and easy vibration detection. Furthermore, by combining it with a waveform analyzer (FFT analyzer), it not only measures vibration but also accurately captures and visualizes the vibration state, enabling analysis. Features

■High-sensitivity camera integrated with sensor

You can display and confirm the target object and the laser irradiation area on a Windows PC without reducing sensitivity.

■Dramatically Improved Detection Sensitivity

A newly designed interference optical system achieves 10 times (+20dB) greater detection sensitivity than previous models. This expands the range of detectable objects, easing constraints on sensor installation and setup.

■Wide Range Measurement Coverage with Up to 4 Ranges

Detectable amplitudes now range from 0.05µm/s to 10m/s. From the high-speed amplitudes of piezoelectric elements to the extremely small amplitudes emitted by thin films, MEMS, and ceramic capacitors, it can detect the behavior of a wide range of objects.

■Focus Position and Detection Status at a Glance

The sensor is equipped with a level indicator. You can adjust the setting while checking the focus position and detection status at hand.

■Easy Storage and Transport

The unit is 33% lighter than previous models. The unit also houses the sensor and retracts the cable, making storage and transport safer. The optional storage trunk can store the unit itself, as well as a magnetic stand and lighting unit.
