Markforged metal 3D printer "METAL X" is a new FDM type metal 3D printer. The completely new printing technology ``ADAM'' brings about numerous innovations that were not possible with conventional metal printers. ADAM does not require explosion-proof equipment like conventional metal 3D printers, so equipment costs are overwhelmingly low and printing is safe and easy. Also, by modeling with an unprecedented lattice structure, it also contributes to weight reduction. 3D printers can create structures that cannot be created by cutting or casting. Features

■Markforged modeling technology ADAM

- Simply upload STL from CAD data and select the type of metal, and the included software Eiger will easily create modeling data. ・Additively manufactured parts using the FDM method from metal powder + binder materials. Eiger calculates the size to account for shrinkage during sintering. - After removing excess binder from the model, it is placed in a furnace and sintered to create a strong metal part. ・After sintering is completed, the metal part will have approximately 97% density. Of course, it is also possible to perform normal metal processing after completion.

■Equipment cost is 1/10 that of conventional metal 3D printers. 1/100 compared to cutting, casting, etc.

By printing a lattice structure with resin filament containing metal powder, degreasing, and sintering, material and equipment costs can be dramatically reduced.
