About This Product

■Summary

A flow-type microwave synthesizer is a microwave device for continuous flow chemical synthesis. The features of this device are a uniform electric field in the flow channel and rapid microwave heating. This contributes to the scale-up of microwave chemical synthesis, which has been difficult with batch-type microwave equipment.

■Main features

・For flow only ・Uniform electric field and rapid microwave heating in the flow channel ・High temperature, high pressure (maximum 230℃ & 2.5MPa) ・Safety mechanism linked to temperature (thermocouple, radiation thermometer) and pressure sensor (when using options) ・Suitable for heterogeneous systems such as solid catalysts

■System configuration example

The FMR series can also be operated as an independent continuous flow system in combination with options. Additionally, options work in conjunction with the FMR series main unit. For example, a pressure sensor can display a pressure trend graph on a PC screen, record pressure data, and also work with a microwave irradiation stop mechanism that sets a pressure upper limit.
