About This Product

■Discriminator “TIW-D20M”

The discriminator function has been made into a small module. It discriminates the pulse signal from the customer's equipment based on the set voltage level and outputs TTL pulses to a 50Ω load.

■Specifications

・Maximum counting rate: about 30Mcps ・Separate level voltage setting: Set between 0~+4.5V (please contact us) using a 10-turn trimmer. ・TTL output pulse width: Please specify within the range of 10 ns to 150 ns. ・Power supply: Unipolar. DC +12V is standard, but please consult with us. ・Input/output connector: 50Ω-BNC. ・Dimensions/Weight: 45 x 35 x 25 mm3 (case part excluding connectors) /60g (including 50Ω-BNC connector).

■Features

・Small, lightweight, and low cost. - Operates simply by connecting an external unipolar DC constant voltage power supply. - Discrimination level can be set from outside the module. Additionally, the width of the TTL pulse can be specified. Only the essential functions of the TTL output discriminator have been miniaturized. In addition to being suitable for high-counting rate counting of pulse output signals from users' experimental equipment, it can also be easily used for various analyzes using the time-of-flight method, taking advantage of its high-speed response and sharp rise of TTL output into a 50Ω load. (Does not have constant fraction function)
