Introducing the vertical conveyor I-B conveyor manufactured by Nishimura Iron Works. The I-B conveyor is a revolutionary inner bucket conveyor that has many features and benefits not found in conventional outer bucket conveyors, such as effortless natural discharge, extremely smooth loading, and anti-stick properties thanks to the use of rubber bucket material. In addition, due to its structure, the impact during loading is extremely small, so there is little wear on the bucket and it has a long life.

■What is I-B conveyor?

- Abbreviation for InternalBucketConveyor, which is a vertical conveyor belt conveyor with a bucket inside. ・Transports liquids and granules vertically to high places1 (up to 50m). -The belt width is 1,200 mm and the machine length is 26 m, so it can be carried up to the height of about 9 floors of a building, and 180 tons can be carried to the top per hour. structure

■Structure of I-B conveyor

・A bucket is attached to the inside of the belt. ・Conveyed items are loaded from the hopper drum ・The conveyed items are discharged from the bucket that is reversed by the head pulley and are discharged from the discharge chute. ・If there is any spilled material, it will be put into the bucket. ・Since the hopper drum is a hanging type, the belt is under tension due to its own weight.

■Structure of outer bucket conveyor

・Unlike the I-B conveyor, this type has a bucket on the outside. ・Conveyed items entering from the input chute are collected at the bottom and scraped with a bucket before being transported, resulting in heavy contact with the bucket. ・Since centrifugal force is used for discharge, the belt speed becomes faster. ■Smooth loading

The conveyed object placed in the center of the hopper drum rotates together with the belt, bucket, and hopper drum, so it rolls on its own and smoothly enters the bucket without impact.

■Loading

Unlike the ``outer bucket conveyor,'' which uses a flat shovel to forcibly shovel gravel from the middle of the pile, the ``I-B conveyor'' uses a method in which the gravel flows into the shovel, making it less noisy.
