About This Product

■Summary

"Field LiDAR" is a mobile 3D scanner that utilizes SLAM technology*1 and can simultaneously estimate its own position and create a 3D environment map through movement measurement*2. By taking measurements while moving, it is possible to acquire point cloud data over a wide area and in real time, which improves work efficiency by quickly grasping the situation, such as disaster assessment to understand the damage status of natural disasters, soil volume and finished form measurements at construction sites, forest management, and infrastructure inspections. *1 Simultaneous Localization and Mapping: Technology that simultaneously performs self-location estimation and mapping *2 Measurement range is within a radius of 100m. Measurement time is within 10 minutes. Movement speed is within 4km/h, which is equivalent to walking speed. "Field LiDAR" is a registered trademark of Mitsubishi Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. ■LiDAR SLAM technology and sensor fusion (IMU, RTK-GNSS) realize highly accurate self-position estimation and 3D environmental map generation

・By measuring movement, it is easy to estimate your own position with high precision and generate a 3D environmental map over a wide range. ・Sensor fusion combines multiple sensors such as the built-in high-precision IMU and RTK-GNSS to improve measurement stability and accuracy (±50mm) ・Even in places where GNSS cannot be received, 3D environmental maps can be generated using SLAM technology.

■Real-time measurement processing makes measurement work more efficient

・RTK-GNSS collaboration enables real-time processing on the main unit, such as coordinate transformations that require complex calculations. ・It eliminates the need for time-consuming preliminary work such as setting control points and surveying, and post-work such as coordinate conversion, making work more efficient.

■Supporting more efficient understanding of on-site situations by providing easy-to-understand information

・By performing real-time processing in conjunction with a high-sensitivity camera, it is possible to understand the damage caused by natural disasters immediately after measurement using a high-density 3D point cloud viewer, etc. ・Supporting more efficient on-site confirmation work
