■Product features"Off-grid" is a system that consumes the electricity it generates on its own. It's a word we've heard a lot lately, but the number of disasters caused by global warming, such as large typhoons and torrential rains, is rapidly increasing.

Stopping global warming through CO2 reduction is being discussed at the United Nations. Japan's CO2 reduction target is a 46% reduction compared to 2013 by 2030, but CO2 emissions are said to be increasing because much of Japan's power generation uses fossil fuels.

Fossil fuel prices are rising year by year due to global conditions, and as a result, electricity costs are also rising year by year. This is a large-capacity power storage system that utilizes natural energy (sunlight) and efficiently uses the generated electricity.

The [ES-PB] series is a product that enables large home appliances to operate for long periods of time, which was not possible with portable batteries. We have adopted a large capacity battery and achieved a low price. Furthermore, we have also adopted an uninterruptible device that can respond immediately in the event of a sudden power outage, providing peace of mind even in the event of a disaster. ■Product overview & specificationsThe daily electricity usage costs for a single house and apartment complex are slightly different, but it is said that the average electricity usage cost for a family of four is 11KW to 13KW per day. It is 460W to 540W per hour, but if you subtract the time when you are sleeping at night, it becomes 1.1KW to 1.3KW (10 hours).

The power consumption of a 500L large refrigerator that is constantly running is about 500W. Even if you add up ventilation fans and other standby power, you can power your house with about 1KW of electricity during the day. With portable batteries, even with a rated output of 2,000W, the battery capacity was only about 2,000Wh, so even if you could run large home appliances, you could only run them for a short time.

The [ES-PB] series is equipped with a large-capacity battery at a low price, making it possible to secure power in emergencies and provide power for long periods of time during disasters. If you set up a solar panel, you can significantly reduce your electricity bill by using it while generating electricity.

The ES-5000PB uses the industry's first hybrid inverter, which generates electricity with the solar panel during the day, stores excess electricity and discharges it at night, and automatically supplies power from commercial power when the battery level falls below 15%. Connection to the power distribution board will also be possible once construction is completed.
