About This Product

■Product overview

POSCAP" uses a tantalum sintered body for the anode and a highly conductive conductive polymer formed using a unique manufacturing method for the cathode. Despite being significantly smaller and lower in profile, it has a low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and excellent high-frequency characteristics. It is a chip capacitor that is ideal for digitalization and high-frequency electronic equipment. It also has sufficient characteristics in terms of reliability and heat resistance.

■Features

・Achieves low ESR using conductive polymer: It has ideal frequency characteristics and has a large maximum allowable ripple current for noise removal at high frequencies, making it ideal for smoothing switching power supplies and as a backup capacitor for load fluctuations around PC CPUs. ・Lead-free compatible: Gold-palladium plating is used for the terminal plating, and no lead is used in the internal materials. - Guaranteed long life of 105℃ x 2,000 hours: Because it uses a conductive polymer with excellent high temperature stability, it has a long life of 105℃ x 2,000 hours. *Excludes some models. ・Flat temperature characteristics down to -55℃: Formed with a dense conductive polymer with excellent adhesion, the temperature dependence of impedance and ESR is small and can be used in a wide range of equipment. ・High rush current resistance: The conductive polymer's excellent self-healing ability guarantees a rush current of 20A. ・Achieves a wide capacitance range from 10μF to 1,500μF ・Higher safety than tantalum capacitors even in the unlikely event of a short-circuit failure
