About This Product

■About this product

・Ultra small size: φ18.9×4mm ・High rigidity/high durability: Hardly distorted and rarely breaks down. ・Capable of measuring high-speed load fluctuations: High resonance frequency enables measurement of load fluctuations of several milliseconds or more ・Supports quasi-static measurements: Static loads can be measured for short periods of time. - Initial static load can be reset: Only the desired minute load can be measured with high sensitivity under heavy load conditions. ・Wide measurement range: Can measure from a few N to 20kN with one sensor (FTA-20+TCA-20)

■Pressure quality judgment in caulking process

・Measure with stable accuracy ・Can check pressure force in real time ・High durability reduces sensor replacement frequency ・Can measure from several N to 20kN with one element

■Measurement of ultrasonic welding force

・Monitoring the welding process and inspection process simultaneously ・Timing check of ultrasonic vibration is possible ・Contributes to optimization of welding conditions ・In-process monitoring possible

■Specifications

By combining with the dedicated charge amplifier TCA-20/100, it is possible to measure in the range of FTA-20+TCA-20=several N to 20kN. FTA-100+TCA-100 = Can be measured in the range of several tens of N to 100kN.

■Principle

Piezoelectric elements, such as piezoelectric ceramics and crystal, generate an electric charge proportional to mechanical force as shown in the following equation. (Q=d33・F Q: generated charge, d33: piezoelectric constant, F: force)

■Preload

Piezo pressure sensors must be preloaded (tightened with bolts) and then calibrated for sensitivity.

■About receiving pressure

Piezo pressure sensors receive loads on a surface. Install so that the load is applied evenly to the pressure receiving surface.
