About This Product

■Summary

The MP175L is a primary-side regulator that provides accurate constant voltage (CV) regulation without an optocoupler. MP175L supports buck, buck-boost, boost, and flyback topologies. The MP175L integrates a 700V MOSFET and high voltage current source, simplifying construction and reducing cost. MP175L is a green mode operating regulator. Both peak current limit (ILIMIT) and switching frequency (fSW) decrease with load. This feature provides superior efficiency under light load conditions and increases overall average efficiency. The MP175L has multiple protection features including over-temperature protection (OTP), VCC undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overload protection (OLP), short-circuit protection (SCP), power recovery protection, and open-loop detection (OLD). These features make the MP175L an ideal regulator for offline low power applications such as consumer electronics and standby power supplies. MP175L is offered in a SOIC-8 package.
