About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ8113 and MPQ8113A are low cost, unipolar, high-side current sense amplifiers. The device operates from a 2.7V to 60V supply and typically draws 300μA of current. They are ideal for modern automotive systems, industrial power supplies, and systems where battery/DC current monitoring is important. High-side current monitoring is especially useful in battery-powered systems because it does not interfere with the battery charger's ground path. The common-mode input voltage (VIN) range from 0V to 60V and high 700kHz bandwidth make these devices ideal for internal control and short-circuit protection (SCP) loops. The MPQ8113 directly converts differential VIN to voltage output using an internal common input resistor and load resistor. The gain of MPQ8113 is 50V/V. MPQ8113A converts differential VIN to current output. This current is converted to voltage by an external load resistor. MPQ8113A has adjustable gain based on external common input resistance and load resistance. Both MPQ8113 and MPQ8113A are offered in the TSOT23-6L package.
