About This Product

■Summary

The MP4865A is a 64-channel, high-voltage, single-pole, single-throw (SPST) analog switch with integrated output bleed resistor. This device can multiplex transmit and receive voltages between multiple piezoelectric transducers (PZTs) and is designed for medical ultrasound imaging applications. The output switches are controlled by a 64-bit serial shift register and a 64-bit data latch. A data output pin (DOUT) allows cascading of multiple devices. This helps minimize the number of input/output (I/O) control lines. When a data latch is logic high, the corresponding analog switch is turned on. When a data latch goes low, the corresponding switch turns off. MP4865A does not require high voltage power supply. Only two low voltage power supplies (3.3V and 5V) are required. Analog switches can block or pass analog voltages up to ±90V with peak currents up to ±1.8A. MP4865A is available in a BGA-144 (10mm x 10mm) package.
