About This Product

■Summary

The MP6630 is a 3-phase brushless DC motor driver with integrated power MOSFET for notebook fan drivers. The input voltage range is 2V to 5.5V. This device controls motor speed through a PWM signal on the PWM pin. It features a built-in single-hole sensor for robust starting performance, sinusoidal control for high efficiency, and low-speed ripple/vibration over the entire speed range. The MP6630 also has a rotation speed detector. The FG pin is an open drain output that detects rotation speed. Extensive protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), locked rotor protection, overcurrent protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown protection. The MP6630 is available in a UTQNF-8 (2mm x 3mm) package.
