About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ6631H-AEC1 is a 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver with integrated power MOSFETs. The device accepts a single external Hall-effect sensor or three external Hall-effect sensors to drive 3-phase BLDC motors with up to 3A peak phase current and input voltage (VIN) range of 3.6V to 35V. The MPQ6631H-AEC1 has a closed/open loop to control motor speed through a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal or a DC signal on the PWM/DC pin. The device has a built-in configurable speed curve function. It also features sinusoidal drive for maximum torque and low speed ripple and noise over the entire speed range. MPQ6631H-AEC1 detects rotation speed. The rotation speed detector (FG/RD pin) is an open drain output. Outputs high or low voltage for the output of the Hall comparator. Directional control is via the DIR pin input. Extensive protection features include input overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage lockout (UVLO), locked rotor protection, overcurrent protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown protection. The MPQ6631H-AEC1 is available in a TQFN-26 (3mm x 4mm) package with wettable flanks. Available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
