About This Product

■Summary

MPQ6532 is a gate driver IC designed for application in three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor drivers. Three half-bridges of six N-channel power MOSFETs can be driven with input voltages (VIN) up to 60V. The device includes a regulated charge pump to generate gate driver power and uses a bootstrap (BST) capacitor to generate the supply voltage for the high-side MOSFET (HS-FET) driver. An internal trickle charge circuit maintains sufficient HS-FET driver voltage while the output is operating at 100% duty cycle. The MPQ6532 uses three Hall sensor inputs to integrate 120° current exchange. The PWM, DIR, and nBRAKE pins control motor speed, direction, and braking. Internal safety features include configurable short circuit protection (SCP), overcurrent protection (OCP), adjustable dead time (DT) control, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection, and thermal shutdown. The MPQ6532 is available in a QFN-28 (4mm x 5mm) package with a thermal pad and is AEC-Q100 qualified.
