About This Product

■Summary

The MP6606 is an 8-channel low-side (LS) driver IC with a serial interface. The device integrates a low-side MOSFET (LS-FET) and a high-side (HS) clamp diode to drive inductive loads, making it ideal for unipolar stepper motor and solenoid driver applications. The MP6606 operates with supply voltages up to 60V and can deliver up to 750mA of output current (IOUT), depending on PCB design and temperature conditions. The maximum voltage on the motor drive output pin is 60V. Internal safety features include overcurrent protection (OCP), undercurrent lockout (UVLO) protection, and thermal shutdown. The MP6606 is offered in a TSSOP-20EP package with exposed pad.

・Wide 4.5V to 60V input voltage (VIN) range ・Maximum winding clamp voltage of 60V ・4 low-side MOSFETs (LS-FETs) and clamp diodes ・700mΩ on resistance (RDS (ON) ) 750mA maximum output current (IOUT) with 1 LS-FET on or 500mA maximum IOUT with 8 LS-FETs on ・Overcurrent protection (OCP) ・Under voltage lockout (UVLO) protection ・Thermal shutdown ・Failure display output ・No control power required ・Simple logic interface with Schmitt trigger ・3.3V and 5V compatible logic power supply ・Delivered in thermally enhanced TSSOP-20EP package
