About This Product

■Summary

MP6508A is a bipolar stepping motor driver with two built-in full bridges consisting of N-channel power MOSFETs. The device can deliver up to 1.2A of motor current per channel over a 2.7V to 18V input voltage (VIN) range. Internal safety features include overcurrent protection (OCP), undercurrent lockout (UVLO) protection, and thermal shutdown. MP6508A provides fault output flags to indicate OCP and thermal shutdown. The MP6508A is available in a QFN-16 (3mm x 3mm) package with an exposed thermal pad on the back.

・Wide 2.7V to 18V input voltage (VIN) range ・Two internal full bridge drivers ・Low on-resistance (RDS (ON)): 250mΩ high-side MOSFET (HS-MOSFET) and low-side MOSFET (LS-MOSFET) ・Internal charge pump for high side (HS) driver ・Low quiescent current of 1.6mA (self-consumption current) ・Low 1μA sleep current ・Overcurrent protection (OCP) ・Thermal shutdown and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection ・Failure display output ・Thermally enhanced surface mount package ・Provided in QFN-16 (3mm x 3mm) package
