About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ1918-AEC1 is designed to drive enhancement-mode gallium nitride (GaN) FETs or low gate threshold voltage N-channel MOSFETs in half-bridge or synchronous applications. The MPQ1918-AEC1 has independent high-side (HS) and low-side (LS) pulse-width modulation (PWM) inputs. It also provides bootstrapping technology for HS driver voltage and can operate up to 100V. A new charging technique prevents the HS driver voltage from exceeding the VCC voltage (VCC) and prevents the gate voltage from exceeding the maximum gate-to-source voltage rating of the GaN FET. The MPQ1918-AEC1 has two independent gate outputs that allow the turn-on and turn-off functions to be independently adjusted by adding impedance to the gate loop. MPQ1918-AEC1 can operate up to several MHz. The MPQ1918-AEC1 is available in a wettable flank FCQFN-14 (3mm x 3mm) package.
