About This Product

Powercompact is a series suitable for cabinets in the catering sector and frozen showcases in confectionery and ice cream shops. It has a 3-digit LED display and 8 buttons that allow you to access the main functions of the connected refrigeration unit. The controller is available in standard and compact sizes and is only 40mm deep, making it ideal for applications where controller space is limited. Models have 2 to 5 relays, including a 2HP relay for the compressor, and power can be switched using a transformer or extended range. (115/230Vac)

■Powercompact features

The Powercompact series is particularly suitable for refrigerated counters in catering services, frozen display cases in confectionery shops and ice cream parlors, etc. Powercompact: Cold static refrigeration units controlled by the compressor only, available in single relay versions to low temperature 5 relay versions with compressor control and resistance or hot gas defrost, evaporative fan and two multi-function auxiliary outputs. Most models have a 2HP relay for compressor control, a 16A relay for defrost control, and an 8A relay for evaporative fan and auxiliary output control.

■Powercompact small features

The compact version takes up only 40mm of space inside the unit, making it ideal for applications where space available for control equipment is limited. There are several versions, ranging from a 4-relay version of the compressor controlled by a 30A relay.

■The Powercompact series is part of the ir33 platform, so they share many features.

General configuration algorithms, as well as “direct” (cold) and “reverse” (warm) operation in the neutral zone, second step regulation compressor control, auxiliary evaporator control, condenser fan control, load average supply and return There are some additional features such as adjustment, display case/cell lighting, etc. For parameter control, CAREL provides free software called Visual Parameter Manager (VPM), which can be downloaded from ksa.carel.com.
