About This Product

PCO sistema controls HVAC/R related products and systems. This product consists of a programmable controller, user interface, gateway, communication interface, and remote management system to provide a powerful and flexible control system for OEM products in HVAC/R. :

■pCO5 (I/O board) Features

We are proposing a new programmable controller from CAREL, which has been continuously improving controller development in the HVAC/R market for over 25 years. Compared to the current pCO controller series (pCO3), the pCO5 has new features that increase the efficiency of HVAC/R systems, including integrating an electronic expansion valve driver and a backup power source to close the valve in the event of a power outage. In addition, the pCO5 has five serial lines (three of which are always configurable with protocols, two with optional protocols (Modbus®, BACnet™, CAREL, CANbus, Konnex, Lon) and physical support (RS485, Ethernet). , Can, Konnex, Echelon®) to meet more advanced requirements. There are both "host" and "device" USB port versions, allowing you to connect standard USB pen drives and connect directly to your PC without the need for a serial converter.

■pCO5 (I/O board) Notes

-Backwards compatibility: pCO5 pins are compatible with pCO3. The software uses pCO3 emulation BIOS and is fully binary compatible. Connectivity: pCO5 has two integrated serial interfaces, two optional expansion cards, and two USB ports. -USB: Simple service and monitoring via standard USB port. The USB host port accepts standard USB dongles, and the USB device port allows direct connection from a PC without an external converter. ・Energy saving: The pCO5 Medium model comes with two EVDEVO expansion valve drivers and an optional backup power supply for integrated energy saving management.
