About This Product

■Stainless steel fine mesh

Fine mesh is made using almost the same manufacturing method as welded wire mesh, but the wire diameter is relatively thinner than welded wire mesh, and the mesh is called ``fine mesh.'' (The name of the mesh is also center pitch.) It is used in the same way as plain weave wire mesh and crimp wire mesh, but has the advantage that the mesh will not come apart because all intersection points are spot welded. Of course, even if you are forced to cut out the wire mesh on site, the edges will not fray even if you cut it with clippers or pliers. Recommended for applications that do not require much strength, such as dust prevention and various covers. If you need strength, please refer to "Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh". *All stainless steel fine mesh items can now be sold by cutting as of February 1, 2011. The standard for stainless steel fine mesh 1.0φ x 50mmP has been discontinued as of December 10, 2019. All standard size stainless steel fine mesh items in stock are not subjected to any surface treatment after processing.

■Welded wire mesh (wire mesh)

The welded wire mesh manufacturing technology dates back to 1850, when it was devised by the French and British to increase the tensile strength of concrete by reinforcing it with steel. It was adopted by people for railway and civil engineering work, and quickly became popular among the general public. The history of welded wire mesh in Japan dates back to the end of the war, when demand for base construction work for the U.S. military stationed there first began. Around 1948 (Showa 23), welded wire mesh equipment appeared in response to this demand, and welded wire mesh The system got off the ground and is now being actively adopted in domestic construction by various industries and the Ministry of Construction. Even today, it is used for concrete reinforcement work in civil engineering work, for fences and handrails, for building materials such as fall prevention and catwalks, and as wire mesh for decorations and fixtures. In addition, among welded wire mesh products, ``Fine Mesh'' refers to nets with relatively fine meshes and small wire diameters, and the intersection points are welded to bird prevention wire meshes and partition wire meshes that use woven wire meshes or crimp wire meshes. It is often used because of its advantage of having a relatively fine mesh. "Welded wire mesh" is also called "wire mesh (WM)" and is the same thing. Also, ``Fine Mesh'' is basically the same manufacturing method and appearance as welded wire mesh.
