About This Product

1-component silicone sealant

■Features

・Solvent cracking is unlikely to occur even when used on polycarbonate resin ・Because it is an alcohol type, it has almost none of the odor characteristic of oxime types ・A clear type whose color is inconspicuous ・Low modulus, so it follows joint contraction, vibration, and the like

■Applications

Repair, bonding, and filling of polycarbonate corrugated sheet and flat sheet

■Handling Precautions

・Some materials cannot be bonded, so always check in advance in an inconspicuous area or the like. ・Contact with some synthetic rubbers (EPDM, chloroprene rubber) may discolor the sealant. ・Discoloration may occur when used together with an oxime type. ・Cannot be used on stone. ・Paint will not adhere to it. ・Cannot be used in aquariums for keeping fish. ・If the joint moves during the curing process, razor-like cracks may appear on the surface. ・Do not use product whose shelf life has expired. ・A primer cannot be used. (Using a primer may cause cracking in the polycarbonate) ・Take care not to let it touch the skin directly; if it gets on the skin, wipe it off immediately with a rag or similar and then wash it off thoroughly with soap or similar. ・If it accidentally gets in the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes and then promptly seek treatment from a specialist. ・Contact lens wearers should take great care, as uncured product that accidentally gets in the eyes may adhere to the contact lens. ・Store in a fixed location out of the reach of children.

■Storage Precautions

・Store out of direct sunlight in a cool place with low humidity. ・Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture
