About This Product

Sunbonder USM-5 series is a standard ultrasonic soldering machine. It is fluxless and is used for soldering to glass and ceramics and bonding sputter target materials. We have a lineup of 60kHz/40kHz/28kHz depending on the size of the tip tip. Product features

■Ultrasonic soldering equipment that achieves high-quality soldering with no flux

The ultrasonic soldering device Sunbonder realizes fluxless soldering using ultrasonic waves. By combining it with Cerasolza, the world's first special solder that can also be applied to glass, we have made it possible to solder difficult-to-solder materials. The cavitation effect of ultrasonic waves destroys the oxide film. At the same time, it also removes air bubbles and promotes solder "wetting", allowing you to consistently perform high-quality soldering work. Since flux is not required, the cleaning process can be omitted and there is no need to worry about residue that cannot be removed. In addition, the adhesive strength is greater than the breaking strength of glass, forming a high-quality adhesive mechanism with excellent airtightness, weather resistance, moisture resistance, and electrical conductivity. This is a compact hand iron type ultrasonic soldering device that is easy to install in various work environments. Typical features

■Fluxless

Realizes soldering without flux. No cleaning process is required and there is no need to worry about residue.

■Compatible with difficult-to-solder materials

It is possible to solder difficult-to-solder materials such as glass, ceramics, and aluminum that are difficult to solder using conventional methods.

■Rohs compatible

USM-560 and USM-540 are products that comply with the RoHS Directive. (*USM-528 is not supported) Please check the non-use certificate here.

■Overseas support

Compatible with AC100V to 240V and can be used overseas. Please let us know your desired power supply voltage when ordering, and we will adjust it before shipping. About solderable area (chip diameter)

■The three types of USM-series have different solderable areas (tip diameters).

・USM-560: Tip diameter φ1.0~4.0mm ・USM-540: Tip diameter φ10.00mm ・USM-528: Tip diameter 50 x 10mm
