About This Product

■Summary

Ocean Optics' Extreme UV-resistant solarization optical fiber is a fiber that suppresses the deterioration and decrease in transmittance of standard silica fiber due to UV irradiation below 300 nm. When performing measurements below 300nm (measurable from 180nm). We recommend using this UV solarization resistant fiber. It is a highly durable, high-quality product that can stably transmit even minute light detection results. The standard length is 2m, but various lengths are available upon special order. Both ends of the optical fiber are standard SMA905 connectors. This optical fiber can be used for both illumination and reception, and easily connects to Ocean Optics spectrometers, light sources, and sampling accessories. The fiber features a silicone-coated steel monocoil jacket with Nomex bleed for excellent protection and strain relief. The elongated SMA905 connector (QSMA) allows easy connection to spectrometers, light sources, and various optional accessories.
