About This Product

The main raw materials and additives for Ecolobase Soil CA Plus, such as compost and charcoal, are all recycled products. We produce recycled paper and bark compost by composting coal ash (clinker ash) generated when producing electricity, soil from water treatment plants generated when producing drinking water, pruned branches and cut vegetables from food factories, etc. This is an environmentally friendly artificial soil that uses paper sludge charcoal generated during the process and all byproducts generated from lifelines.

Features
■Environmentally friendly soilThis is an artificial lightweight soil with a 100% recycling rate that uses clinker ash from thermal power plants and cake from water purification plants as greening materials.

■Improved “fertility retention” and “shear stress”Conventional artificial lightweight soils have been designed with lightness, water permeability, water retention, and air permeability in mind to prevent soil physical changes over time. This is an artificial lightweight soil that inherits the characteristics of that soil and has improved ``fertility retention'' and ``shear resistance'' to firmly support trees.

■Activation of “soil biology”Organic matter is decomposed and minerals needed by plants increase. Appropriate gaps are created in the soil to improve ventilation, drainage, and water retention, allowing roots to grow healthily.

■Safe soilThe main raw materials for Ecolobase Soil CA Plus are materials that have passed strict safety standards. Burmatel proposes ``soil that children can safely touch'' that not only focuses on the long-term growth of plants, but also provides peace of mind for us humans who use it.

■Excellent soil bearing capacityThe load that the ground can support is called the soil bearing capacity. Although Ecolobase Soil CA Plus is a soil for planting, it exhibits excellent soil bearing capacity due to the compaction method.

・Compressibility under load: Measured value 10%
・Saturated hydraulic conductivity: Measured value 1.2×10-4m/s
・Effective moisture retention pF1.5-3.0: Measured value 326L/m2
・Wet specific gravity (pF1.8): Measured value 0.93Mg/m2
