About This Product

■Summary

Eddy current flaw detector Ectane2 is a high performance eddy current flaw detector that supports the following multi-eddy current methods. It has a built-in multiplexer, and by installing the special software Magnifi on the PC, you can control flaw detection operations on the PC (connected to the flaw detector via LAN). A variety of thin tubes such as ECT (eddy current), ECA (eddy current array), TECA (tangential eddy current array), RFT (remote field), NFT (near field), NFA (near field array), and MFL (leakage flux). - Compatible with surface flaw detection technology. Main features

■New CPU board (100% made by Eddyfi)

Ectane2's new board has a high-speed CPU, which greatly improves signal recording and real-time processing. This allows Ectane2 to make an even greater contribution to quality control by combining ECT, ECA, RFT, NFR, MFL, and IRIS technologies.

■Equipped with power supply for magnetic saturation probe

It is available with a 41-pin Ectane2 connector and can be programmed to control the current output for use with partially saturated ECT probes and magnetically biased ECT probes.

■SmartMUX

SmartMUX is Ectane2's powerful and fully programmable multiplexer. Solve all problems with equipment that requires an external multiplexer or does not have a powerful multiplexer. You can easily use the highly versatile absolute, differential, or transmit/receive topology.

■Maximum frequency 10MHz

The maximum frequency of ECT is 10MHz, which increases the flexibility of tube inspection and surface inspection and improves inspection performance.

■Equipped with power supply for RPC probe

Ectane2 has a built-in powerful motor drive to drive the RPC (rotating pancake coil) probe motor. The RPC probe is used to detect cracks in the circumferential and axial directions, and this function is very effective.
