About This Product

■Ideal for “difficult” body fluids

Pulsar Measurement Doppler flowmeters measure sewage, sewage, slurry, abrasives, viscous liquids, and bubbly liquids. Recommended for liquids containing solids or bubbles when the tube is normally full.

■External sensor non-contact, no maintenance required

The DFM 6.1 clamp-on sensor can be installed on the outside of a pipe larger than Φ12.7mm. To measure velocity, an acoustic signal is reflected back to the sensor from moving particles or bubbles suspended in the fluid. The flow rate is calculated based on the set pipe inner diameter. Easy installation and no flow system interruption. No need to cut pipes or drill holes, as there is no contact with moving fluid. No dirt or scale build-up on the sensor. The DFM 6.1 Doppler flowmeter includes an ultrasonic sensor, easy-to-use 5-key setting system, large digital flow display with totalizer, 4-20 mA isolated output, 26 million point data logger, and 2 programmable control relays. Masu. The sensor is classified as non-incendive in Class I Div 2 locations, and intrinsically safe sensors are optional in Class I Div 1 locations.

■Designed for “difficult” liquids

DFM 6.1 Doppler flowmeters work best in applications that are not possible with regular contact flowmeters. The sensor is mounted on the outside of the pipe and is not affected by abrasives or harsh fluids. There are no obstructions to flow and no pressure loss.

■Signal processing and noise immunity for reliable accuracy

DFM 6.1 Doppler flowmeter algorithm removes background noise and interference. A high-speed digital signal processor identifies weak and distorted signals for increased reliability and accuracy.

■Easy installation

The DFM 6.1 Doppler Flowmeter includes a clamp-on ultrasonic sensor, adjustable stainless steel mounting clamp, and sensor coupling compound. The sensor attaches to the outside of pipes with a diameter of 12.7 mm or larger, takes only a few minutes to install, and does not require flow shutdown.

■Simple single head sensor design

Ultrasonic signals are transmitted and received from a single head sensor. Mounting clamps allow for correct placement of the sensor in horizontal or vertical piping. DFM 6.1 automatically self-adjusts to cable lengths up to 152.4m.
