■Features

・The frequency range is divided into several bands, and specific antennas are defined for each of these bands. ・For frequency ranges above 1 GHz, CISPR 16 specifies the use of broadband horn antennas for radiated noise measurement. ・Standard broadband horn antennas for EMC applications are very expensive and cover a frequency range far wider than the frequency range available with typical low-cost EMC pre-compliance spectrum analyzers. ・To provide an antenna optimized for pre-compliance EMC test applications above 1 GHz, Tekbox designed the TBMA4 double ridged horn measurement antenna. ・Its affordable price makes it a suitable product for radiated noise EMC pre-compliance testing and for generating defined field strengths. ・It is characterized from 1 GHz to 8 GHz and has a directivity pattern typical of double ridged horn antennas. ・It is a compact double ridged horn antenna whose radiating elements are made from edge-plated PCB substrates. ・The housing is made of stainless steel. It is equipped with a standard female N connector and comes with a "pistol grip" tripod. ・The standard 1/4 inch thread on the bottom of the antenna allows easy attachment to most standard tripods. In addition, the rear of the antenna is equipped with an indexed mounting plate. ・The mounting plate has a 6 mm threaded hole in the center and 4 mm threaded holes arranged radially in 45 degree steps, as is common with most horn antennas.
