About This Product
■Summary
Supersol is a lightweight material made by crushing, firing, and foaming glass bottles.
Supersol, a porous, lightweight foam material made by crushing, firing and foaming waste glass, is an irregular, gravel-like artificial pumice stone with a particle size of 2 to 75 mm. It is composed of soil ingredients and is an earth-friendly material. The specific gravity and water absorption rate can be controlled during manufacturing according to the application.
Taking advantage of its features such as light weight, water permeability, water retention, fire resistance, and heat insulation, it is used in a wide range of applications including civil engineering, greening, agriculture, water purification, and insulation, and is contributing to the creation of a recycling-oriented society. It is a product with high added value.
■Earth-friendly (soil reduction type)
The raw material for Supersol is common "soda lime glass," and its main component is a substance called "silicon," which exists in large quantities in Japanese soil. The remaining ingredients are sodium and calcium, which are also used in everyday household items, and are baked at a high temperature of approximately 900 degrees, making it a sterile, safe and secure recycled material.
■Water permeability and water retention
Helps control the permeability and water retention of the ground. It has excellent drainage even when it's time to give up. If used as drainage material or planting soil, it will help create an environment where plants can grow easily.
■Easy construction with porous, ultra-lightweight material
Supersol has countless pores, is generally called porous, and is 1/5th to 1/6th lighter than soil. You can create different types of bubbles and adjust their performance and weight. Moreover, by creating many holes, it is possible to reduce the weight and is very easy to handle. Furthermore, it has a high degree of freedom during construction and does not require special technology.
■Does not burn (inorganic mineral)
It is an inorganic mineral and is non-combustible, fire resistant and heat insulating. It is also chemically stable and will not deteriorate or corrode.
■Safety of raw materials
Supersol is manufactured using glass beverage bottles and soda lime glass, which is used in architectural sheet glass, as the main raw material. Silica sand, which is the main raw material for glass itself, is present in large quantities in soil, and approximately 70% of the ingredients in Supersol itself, which is manufactured using glass as a raw material, are mostly silicon (SiO2). The remaining ingredients are sodium (Na2O) and calcium (CaO), and can be used as safe and secure materials.
