About This Product

Instead of using adhesive as before, you simply apply the film tape to repair a tear. The repair is tough. This is a repair material for seat-type products. Use it to repair the seats of automobiles, campers, motorcycles, scooters, golf carts, bicycles, and wheelchairs, as well as sofas and more. The Tear Aid repair kit lets you make repairs while preserving the characteristics of the material. It is as simple as applying a piece of the size you need to the spot you want to repair. Different types are available for different applications. It is a top-class repair product in the United States.

■Cautions

・When applying it to a badly deteriorated product, it may not adhere properly if moisture, debris, or the like is present inside cracks. ・Remove oil and other contaminants from the surface to be bonded with alcohol or a similar cleaner, and make sure it is thoroughly clean before use. ・After application, avoid placing any load on it for at least 1 to 2 hours. ・Use the type suited to the item you are bonding it to. ・We offer types suited to a wide range of applications. ・Please use your own judgment regarding the intended use and the product type. ・Apply it to the outer side of the sheet wherever possible ・When repairing items that flex frequently under load, such as banana boats, treat the repair as a first-aid measure only, given how severe the use is

■Features

It will not tear even if pierced by something like a pencil or a flat-head screwdriver. Nor will it tear when pulled by human strength. The patch surface is a matte-finish, abrasion-resistant elastomer. It can bond to surfaces such as coated canvas, leather, rubber, nylon, most plastics, paint, aluminum, stainless steel, glass fiber, polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene, and vinyl and similar materials. Tear Aid is the band-aid of the outdoors: a repair product that keeps air in, keeps water out, does not conduct electricity, stands up to ultraviolet light, and can be cut to any size with scissors.
