About This Product

■What is handheld LiDAR?

This is a LiDAR device that a surveyor holds and surveys a cross section or the entire surrounding area. It is useful for acquiring complementary data in areas where there are blind spots or areas where point density is insufficient when surveying using UAV lasers, ground lasers, or MMS. Features of FLIGHTSSCANHANDY Three strengths 1.Affordable price Many of the handheld LiDAR products currently on the market are in the same price range as mid-priced drone-mounted LiDARs and terrestrial lasers. We have created a product that has high performance and is easy to install and use at an affordable price. 2. High performance that allows you to easily create products Measurement distance 40m. Since handheld LiDAR is mainly used for supplementary measurements, it often measures relatively small areas, and a measuring distance of 40m is enough to cover the area you want to supplement. Relative accuracy: less than 2cm, absolute accuracy: less than 5cm. It has the highest level* specs for a low-priced handheld LiDAR and achieves high accuracy. *According to our research as of the end of September 2024. Handheld LiDARs distributed in Japan with a suggested retail price of 4.5 million yen or less excluding tax are eligible. Number of irradiation points: 200,000 points/second. If operated correctly, this score can easily meet the required point density listed in the "Public Survey Manual Using LidarSLAM Technology" as a guide. 3. Field-first ease of use

■Small and lightweight so you won't get tired

Approximately 1kg including battery. High portability reduces the burden on users.

■Easy to carry

Equipped with a small GNSS module as standard, and the grip part is a battery, so you don't have to worry about carrying each one separately from the main unit.

■Can be used by one person

While other surveying methods generally require two or more people, it is possible to conduct a survey by one person.

■Easy to use

No knowledge of aviation laws is required for drone-mounted LiDAR. The usability can be learned in one day by those with experience in 3D point cloud surveying.
