About This Product

Temate® PowerBox H is the first handheld battery powered EMAT device capable of delivering MAX 1,200V / 8KW peak power at PRF 100Hz. The instrument is equipped with a digitizer and broadband pulser/receiver and is designed for use in a variety of applications, including flaw detection, thickness measurement, and material evaluation, both in the manufacturing plant and in the field. Spike pulses and burst waves can be transmitted in the range of 100 kHz to 6 MHz so that various modes such as longitudinal waves, transverse waves, guided waves, and SH waves can be used in either the one-search method or the two-search method. Either the one-probe method or the two-probe method can be easily selected using the built-in transmit/receive switch without any additional equipment. Since it is equipped with a port for a thermosensor, it is also possible to automatically compensate for changes in sound speed due to the temperature of the test object. It is also equipped with one encoder input, so it can be used in combination with automatic scanners and hand scanners. temateR PowerBox H can be used with Innerspec Technologies sensors and some other companies' sensors. As a standard setting, 600Vpp (approx. 3kW) output is the efficiency setting with the lowest battery consumption. The software I use, PowerUT®H, allows me to freely set transmission timing, reception patterns, and filters to obtain the best signal-to-noise ratio. Data can be displayed in A, B, C and line scan formats. You can also save the screen and set the device. Data can be saved on a computer, and data can be analyzed using the included software.
