About This Product

Kuken's power torque setter is a portable (hand-held) nut runner that uses a planetary gear reducer to convert the torque generated by an air motor into high torque to tighten bolts. (This is not an impact wrench.) The automatic two-speed transmission mechanism for high-speed and low-speed rotation speeds up your work. Torque can be easily set on the control panel, and is controlled by a microcomputer using signals from the torque sensor, allowing highly accurate tightening within ±5% without being affected by air pressure fluctuations. (Power Torque Setter is a registered trademark of Kuken Co., Ltd.) The PTS Instructor uses a combination of a display instructor attached to the center hub and a pneumatic torque-controlled nutrunner that communicates wirelessly to indicate the tightening order of hub bolts and nuts and the positions of already tightened hub bolts and nuts using light. This is a visual recognition system to prevent forgetting.
