About This Product

A Hall IC is a magnetic sensor that incorporates a Hall element and a signal conversion circuit into one package. We have a lineup of products with various motion types that meet your needs.

■Police box detection

The alternating detection type detects the switching between the S and N poles of the magnet. It is mainly used as a sensor to detect the magnetic pole position and rotation speed of a motor's rotor magnet.

■SH181 Police box detection type Hall IC

SH181 is an alternating detection type Hall IC designed with silicon bipolar technology. It integrates a voltage regulator, reverse bias protection circuit, Hall element, small signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger circuit, and open collector output with sink current up to 25mA on a single silicon chip. The on-chip voltage regulator allows it to operate over a supply voltage range of 3.5V to 20V.
