About This Product

■Product overview

FG series electric flare guns are designed for complete flaring of tubes. Ideal for clean rooms, equipment cabinets, and hard-to-reach connections where traditional flaring tools are not compatible. The complete process of heating, flaring and cooling all takes place inside this gun. This compact handheld gun is available in five sizes from 1/4 inch to 1 inch.

■Tube flaring

There are many benefits to connecting using flared fittings. Flared fittings are the cleanest connection method as they have the least amount of dead volume. There is less chance of foreign objects getting into the fitting. This prevents the tube from deforming or butting, making flare fittings effective in vibrating or closely loaded applications. There are two methods of flaring. One is by hand and the other is with a Partek flare gun.
