■GEA sanitary butterfly valve

GEA sanitary butterfly valves offer a complete variety for every application. Used as a cost-effective isolation element in valve blocks, panels and pipe fences for product and cleaning applications.

■Summary

GEA sanitary butterfly valves feature a hygienic design without a dome and sump. The product flow encounters little resistance and the product area is automatically drained for efficient cleaning. GEA sanitary butterfly valves offer the benefits of superior hygienic design, ease of assembly, reduced assembly and maintenance times, and increased production uptime.

■Important features

・Robust valve disc ・Low switching torque ・Integrated flange design ・Selection of wetted materials for two metal products ・The wetted parts of the product are made of AISI 304 (1.4301) or AISI 316L (1.4404)

■Pneumatic actuator

Pneumatic actuators have become even more compact for tight installation spaces and low air consumption. The gap-free design ensures optimal cleanability and meets the highest demands on hygiene. Maximum torque is applied towards both end positions, so it can be applied to both normally closed and normally open valves. A metal stopper ensures accurate positioning of the disc. Available in air-to-spring and air-to-air variations. The integrated T.VIS® interface also safely accommodates optional accessories (booster cylinder, 2-position stop, limit stop). Internal pneumatic system eliminates the need for external tubes and reduces the risk of failure. All actuators are applicable to Ex zones by default. You must ensure that all electrical accessories comply with Ex regulations.
