Easy and versatile thermography camera
◼︎Infrared image correction using Super Fine Contrast (MSX®)
Super Fine Contrast (MSX) adds critical information from an onboard visible light camera to the entire thermal image in real time. The result is an all-in-one thermal image with intact numbers, labels, and other structural features, allowing you to instantly pinpoint overheating problem areas.
◼︎From 4,800 pixel clear thermal images (E4) to 76,800 pixel images (E8) with a high-performance 320 x 240 detector, the new FLIR Ex series is designed to accommodate target size, working distance, and desired application. We offer thermal imagers with resolutions that match the level of information you require and your budget.
◼︎The power of a single button
All four thermal imagers feature focus-free lenses and button navigation for easy navigation through on-screen settings, imaging modes, measurement tools, and saved JPEGs. It's incredibly easy to operate and can be used with just one thumb, even when wearing gloves.
◼︎Removable battery
Quick-release, tool-type lithium-ion batteries are easy to install, remove, and charge. You can charge it while inside the thermal imager or use the optional charging stand for all-day operation.
◼︎Useful temperature measurement tool
E4 and above have a center spot meter on the screen that measures temperature. An area box tool is also available for E5, E6, and E8 that automatically identifies overheating and undercooling spots. The E6 and E8 also feature blue warnings for overcooled areas and red warnings for overheated areas, quickly letting you know if there's a thermal issue.
◼︎Multiple imaging modes
All Ex Series thermal imagers can display infrared, visible light, and Super Fine Contrast (MSX) images. At the same time, these images can be saved for further analysis later using FLIR Tools software. With E6 and E8, you can use picture-in-picture to insert an infrared image on top of a visible light photo as an additional option when creating documents.
